This year's conference was a follow-up to the 2008 conference
"Empowering and Enabling" where we presented the outcomes of a University of Ulster consulation with the voluntary youth sector on:
- policy and strategy
- collaboration/relationships
- support/delivery/resources
The theme of 2009 was "Strengthening the Network" and participants examined a number of areas including:
- Shaping the Future of the Youth Service
- Support
- Representation
- Resourcing
These themes are further explored in the
Conference Paper which outlines the background to each theme as well as providing a list of questions which were discussed by the Workshop groups at the conference.
